Safety Officer

Job Title: Safety Officer
Location: Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities

  • Regularly inspect the work environment, equipment, and processes to identify hazards, safety risks, and compliance issues.
  • Conduct risk assessments to evaluate potential hazards in the workplace and recommend safety measures.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and practices to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Organize safety training sessions for employees on proper safety protocols, emergency procedures, equipment handling, and risk avoidance.
  • Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents to determine their cause and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA standards and other relevant safety laws.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, first-aid training, and emergency drills.
  • Ensure that all safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, PPE (personal protective equipment), and emergency alarms, is available, functional, and well-maintain
  • Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, training, and compliance activities. Prepare safety reports and present them to management.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure safety procedures are integrated into daily operations.
  • Coordinate and secure necessary approvals from Trakeesh, Dubai Civil Defense (DCD), and the Civil Engineering Department (CED) for new structures and modification permits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Preferably a graduate in Fire and Safety Engineering, or any related discipline of studies,
  • Holding a valid certificate issued by NEBOSH / OHSAS
  • Knowledge of local and international safety regulations and best practices (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO standards).
  • 2-5 years of related experience, JAFZA experience will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in using the EHS online portal for regulatory submissions and compliance management.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD for reviewing and interpreting technical drawings related to safety compliance
  • Ability to assess risks and develop solutions to mitigate safety hazards.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively train employees and convey safety information.
  • Analytical skills to investigate incidents and find the root causes.
  • Proficiency in safety management systems and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage emergency situations.

Sales Coordinator

Job Title: Sales Coordinator
Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team
at LIFECO. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a role in supporting the sales team and
ensuring seamless operations across departments. You’ll manage order processing, handle
customer inquiries, and help drive sales efforts by coordinating with internal teams and
maintaining accurate records. This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in the fire
and safety industry.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the sales team in processing orders, customer inquiries, and following up on
leads.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and timely
delivery of products.
• Prepare and organize sales documentation, including sales order, Country of Origin,
proforma Invoice, and delivery permission.
• Manage customer accounts, ensuring accurate records and data entry in the Oracle
ERP system.
Qualifications:
• 2-3 years in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the fire and safety
industry or a related field.
• Proficiency in Oracle R12 ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a proactive approach to
problem-solving.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment.
