The LF-LC5004 is a dual loop card used to expand the loop capacity of the control
panel, each loop can accommodate up to 254 addressable LIFECO LF-X500 CIE
compatible devices such as optical smoke detectors, heat detectors, call points,
modules and sounders in any combination. The transmission path is fully monitored
such as in the case of a short or open circuit fault and fault is reported to the control
panel distinctively per each loop. The loop card has a built-in DC surge protection
against 4kA lighting current. The LF-LC5004 is panel mount type that can be installed
in any available loop port, the control panel will automatically assign the loop number
when powered-on.
