About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Design Engineer – Suppression Systems to join our engineering team in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years of experience in fire suppression system design, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering), and strong expertise in AutoCAD drafting, suppression system layout design, and hydraulic calculations. This role involves reviewing tender drawings, preparing detailed design proposals, performing flow calculations, and ensuring compliance with required design concentration standards.
Hands-on experience with HFC227ea, FK5112, IG (Inert Gas), CO₂ systems, Foam Systems, Pre-Action, and Valve systems is essential. The candidate must be detail-oriented, technically strong, and capable of preparing complete hydraulic calculation reports for consultant and client approvals.

Fire Protection Design Engineer – Suppression Systems

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings and suppression system layouts.
- Produce accurate isometric drawings for clean agent and gas suppression systems.
- Review tender drawings and prepare design proposals accordingly.
- Perform flow calculations for clean agent and gas suppression systems.
- Calculate pipe sizing, nozzle selection, proper pressure drop, and discharge time.
- Validate system compliance with design concentration requirements.
- Prepare hydraulic calculation reports for consultant/client approval.
- Work with various clean agent and gas suppression systems, including:
- HFC227ea
- FK5112
- IG (Inert Gas)
- CO₂ systems
- Foam Systems
- Pre-Action and Valve systems
- Ensure designs meet project specifications, authority regulations, and company standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure technical accuracy and project alignment.
