As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers across the UAE
- Identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new sales opportunities for fire suppression systems
- Presenting and demonstrating our fire protection solutions to consultants, contractors, and end-users
- Providing technical consultation and support tailored to project requirements
- Preparing proposals, technical submittals, and compliance documentation
- Negotiating and closing sales contracts while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction
- Collaborating with internal teams (engineering, marketing, and service) to ensure seamless project execution
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Reporting sales activities, forecasts, and performance to management
Suppression Systems Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of suppression systems (HFC227ea and FK-5112, CO2, and inert gas)
- Experience in total flooding systems and application-specific suppression solutions
- Understanding of fire suppression system design concepts, including hazard analysis and system selection
- Familiarity with room integrity test requirements and system performance validation
- Ability to interpret and comply with NFPA standards (e.g., NFPA 2001) and international standards such as UL & FM
- Capability to recommend optimized suppression solutions based on risk, environment, and client needs
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in sales within the firefighting/fire protection industry
- Strong knowledge of NFPA, UL, and FM standards, codes and datasheet
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong technical and commercial understanding of fire protection systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- A results-driven, customer-focused mindset
- Willingness to travel within the UAE
- Valid UAE or GCC driving license
- Ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns and strategies
- Experience identifying new product opportunities and market needs
