The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting the company’s products and services. The role involves achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Job Description:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets (construction, commercial buildings, manufacturing, industrial, oil & gas).
- Promote and specify LIFECO’s product range of firefighting equipment and services, including fire extinguishers, suppression systems, fire alarms, and sprinklers.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales and business development targets.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients, consultants, and government authorities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular follow-ups and support.
- Network and collaborate with firefighting consultants and client representatives to secure business opportunities.
- Understand client requirements and work with the technical team to propose tailored fire safety solutions, including during the design stage.
- Generate qualified leads and opportunities for the sales team.
- Stay updated with industry trends, NFPA standards, local fire codes, and competitor activities.
- Represent LIFECO at exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
- Maintain accurate records of leads and opportunities, and ensure proper handover to the sales team.
- Utilize CRM/Salesforce tools to manage customer information and track opportunities.
Job Specification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, business development, or sales, preferably within the fire protection or life safety industry.
- Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and safety regulations is essential.
- Professional appearance with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
