Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s daily accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting effective financial planning and decision-making. The role focuses on financial reporting, cash-flow management, supplier payments, Letters of Credit, regulatory compliance, and providing practical financial guidance to management.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and financial planning.
Develop and maintain accurate cash-flow forecasts based on supplier payment schedules.
Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Manage and monitor Letters of Credit (LCs) with suppliers.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.
Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audit processes.
Provide financial insights and act as an advisor to management, particularly during financial or economic challenges.
Propose practical solutions and contingency plans when required.
Lead and support the accounting team while collaborating with other departments.
Provide financial support and guidance on client-related matters when required.
Perform other related duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
