Key Responsibilities
As a Key Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers across the UAE
- Identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new sales opportunities for fire suppression systems
- Presenting and demonstrating our fire protection solutions to consultants, contractors, and end users
- Providing technical consultation and support tailored to project requirements
- Preparing proposals, technical submittals, and compliance documentation
- Negotiating and closing sales contracts while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction
- Collaborating with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and service, to ensure seamless project execution
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Reporting sales activities, forecasts, and performance to management
Firefighting/Suppression Systems Expertise
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Strong knowledge of suppression systems, including HFC-227ea, FK-5-1-12, CO₂, and inert gas systems, and complete firefighting systems.
- Understanding of fire suppression system design concepts, including hazard analysis and system selection
- Familiarity with room integrity test requirements and system performance validation
- Ability to interpret and comply with NFPA standards, including NFPA 2001, and internationally recognized UL and FM requirements
- Ability to recommend optimized suppression solutions based on risk, environmental conditions, and client requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferred, or an equivalent qualification
- At least 7 years of sales experience within the firefighting/suppression systems
- Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, BS standards, UL and FM requirements, Emirates codes
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong technical and commercial understanding of fire protection systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Results-driven and customer-focused mindset
- Willingness to travel within the UAE
- Valid UAE or GCC driving licence
- Ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns and strategies
- Experience identifying new product opportunities and market needs
