LIFECO is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Engineer – Fire Trucks & Special Vehicles with proven international experience in the fire truck and fire & rescue vehicle industry.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical and commercial knowledge, an established understanding of international markets, and experience working with customers, distributors, fire authorities, government entities, contractors, and major end users.

This role will focus on developing new business opportunities and expanding LIFECO’s fire truck and special vehicle business across multiple international markets.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Sales Engineer – Fire Trucks & Special Vehicles, you will be responsible for:

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities for fire trucks, fire & rescue vehicles, and special-purpose firefighting vehicles across international markets
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, distributors, fire authorities, Civil Defence, municipalities, government entities, contractors, and major end users
• Managing and expanding relationships with international distributors and business partners
• Providing technical and commercial support to customers throughout the sales process
• Understanding customer operational requirements and recommending suitable fire and rescue vehicle solutions
• Supporting international tenders, technical specifications, commercial proposals, and project requirements
• Presenting fire truck and special vehicle solutions to customers, consultants, authorities, and other key stakeholders
• Developing new markets and identifying potential customers, projects, and distribution opportunities
• Negotiating commercial terms and supporting the successful development of sales opportunities
• Maintaining strong awareness of international fire & rescue market developments and customer requirements
• Representing LIFECO in customer meetings, industry events, exhibitions, and international business development activities
• Travelling internationally as required to develop customer relationships and new markets

Fire Trucks & Special Vehicles Expertise

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical and commercial knowledge of:

• Fire trucks and fire & rescue vehicles
• Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicles
• Aerial platforms
• Water tenders
• Foam tenders
• Rescue vehicles
• Special-purpose firefighting vehicles
• International fire truck tenders and technical specifications
• Fire and rescue vehicle project requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in fire truck or fire & rescue vehicle sales
• Proven experience in international sales and business development
• Strong technical and commercial understanding of fire trucks and special firefighting vehicles
• Demonstrated experience working across international markets
• Experience working with distributors, fire authorities, Civil Defence, municipalities, government entities, contractors, and major end users
• Good understanding of international tenders, technical specifications, and project requirements
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities across multiple markets
• Willingness to travel internationally and develop new markets
• A strong global network within the fire & rescue industry will be a significant advantage

International market experience is essential for this position.
