About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Design Engineer – Suppression Systems to join our engineering team in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years of experience in fire suppression system design, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering), and strong expertise in AutoCAD drafting, suppression system layout design, and hydraulic calculations. This role involves reviewing tender drawings, preparing detailed design proposals, performing flow calculations, and ensuring compliance with required design concentration standards.

Hands-on experience with HFC227ea, FK5112, IG (Inert Gas), CO₂ systems, Foam Systems, Pre-Action, and Valve systems is essential. The candidate must be detail-oriented, technically strong, and capable of preparing complete hydraulic calculation reports for consultant and client approvals.

Job Description

Fire Protection Design Engineer – Suppression Systems

Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings and suppression system layouts.
  • Produce accurate isometric drawings for clean agent and gas suppression systems.
  • Review tender drawings and prepare design proposals accordingly.
  • Perform flow calculations for clean agent and gas suppression systems.
  • Calculate pipe sizing, nozzle selection, proper pressure drop, and discharge time.
  • Validate system compliance with design concentration requirements.
  • Prepare hydraulic calculation reports for consultant/client approval.
  • Work with various clean agent and gas suppression systems, including:
    • HFC227ea
    • FK5112
    • IG (Inert Gas)
    • CO₂ systems
    • Foam Systems
    • Pre-Action and Valve systems
  • Ensure designs meet project specifications, authority regulations, and company standards.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure technical accuracy and project alignment.

The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting the company’s products and services. Job Description:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets (construction, commercial buildings, manufacturing, industrial, oil & gas).
  • Promote and specify LIFECO’s product range of firefighting equipment and services, including fire extinguishers, suppression systems, fire alarms, and sprinklers.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales and business development targets.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients, consultants, and government authorities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular follow-ups and support.
  • Network and collaborate with firefighting consultants and client representatives to secure business opportunities.
  • Understand client requirements and work with the technical team to propose tailored fire safety solutions, including during the design stage.
  • Generate qualified leads and opportunities for the sales team.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, NFPA standards, local fire codes, and competitor activities.
  • Represent LIFECO at exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.

Job Specification:

Purchase Coordinator – Dubai, UAE

The Purchase Coordinator is responsible for handling the procurement of materials, equipment, and services related to fire protection, fire alarm, and safety systems. This role ensures that sourcing is done efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with project timelines, technical specifications, and local regulatory standards.

Reports To: Procurement Manager / Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process material requisitions as approved by the head of the department.
  • Source and evaluate vendors and suppliers for firefighting, fire protection, fire alarm, and other related materials.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) while ensuring accuracy in specifications, quantities, and delivery terms.
  • Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for on-time delivery, dispatch tracking, and follow-up on any delays or shortages.
  • Ensure all materials and equipment meet regulatory standards, including UAE Civil Defense, NFPA, or other applicable regulations.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless material flow and inventory control.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of POs, supplier contracts, delivery schedules, and pricing history.
  • Support the vendor registration and evaluation process, including maintaining approved vendor lists.
  • Assist with resolving discrepancies in deliveries, quality issues, or payment concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, contractual obligations, and industry standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant procurement experience in the fire and safety or MEP industry.
  • Familiarity with firefighting, fire alarm systems, safety equipment, and related regulatory standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar), and document management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of local and international suppliers in the fire & safety sector is a plus.
